Applying for a place in reception

To apply for your child to start in Reception in September 2027 you must apply via Suffolk County Council.

You must apply for a primary, infant or junior school place for the 2027/2028 school year by the closing date of 15 January 2027.

Nursery admissions

WE ARE TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR JANUARY 2027!

Children can start the term after their 3rd birthday. For example - Child's birthday is 18th January, they can start in the April term. If child's birthday was 5th April, they would be able to start in September term.

Applying for a place in high school

To apply for your child to start high school in September 2027 you must apply online via the Suffolk County Council Website.

The deadline for all high school applications is 31st October 2026.
